Good location (10 minutes walk to Montmartre, 3 minutes walk to underground station), reasonable pricing, friendly staff. People who came for sightseeing and just need a place to sleep would be satisfied.

Poor breakfast. View was not as good as expected.

  • Group of friends

It was very close to the metro station and had some nice restaurants nearby.

The room was tiny and the towels were very shabby though clean. The main draw back was the shower head was not attached to the wall and there was no shower curtain.

The hotel is very well located. It`s nearby a very nice shopping area, one block from the Cadet metro station. You can take the metro at night and walk safely to the hotel. It was the best point. The recepcionist, Anusha, was very kind and helpful, with very good English. It is in front of a park that is very busy with kids during the day since early morning but it was quite at night.

Unfortunately the elevator (lift) is between two floors (1/2, 2/3, 3/4), then you have to carry your bags up and down anyway and they don`t have anyone to help with the bags. It was terrible. There is no air conditioning in the room just a fan. The weather was not very hot so the fan worked well, The cleaning of the room was reasonable. The curtains looked very old and dirty, the carpet and chair was dirty. There is also no refrigeraton in the room. The breakfast was $8 per person. There are many cafes nearby where you can have a Parisien breakfast for $5 or $6. So the cost benefit price x hotel was reasonable for the town and excellent location.

    Good location

Decor pretty tired and grotty in places and no air con which was difficult at nights as to open the windows you then had to listen to noisy kids outside. The rate was good however this did not include breakfast, at 16euros this was not reasonable. Also got it with a local tax of approximately 5euros per day.

Very, very nice receptionist! There was a fan in our room which was a nice gesture as it was really hot and they don't have air-con. Could get a room even as the whole city was booked out.

Its too expensive - even for Paris. Otherwise, just little things like no toothbrush provided, they use some universal liquid soap dispensers instead of shampoo and body lotion... I personally would like a toilet brush too. The kids where having loud fun at night in the park on the other side of the road, even on a weeknight.

    very friendly staff, clean rooms

youngsters making a lot of noise outside during the evening; but I understand some action is undertaken to tackle that problem. Anyway, it was always quiet after midnight

    location to train station, affordable

Room was broken into on the first night. Dek clerk was ambivalent. I suspect he was involved as thw room was still locked and he had the only key.

Great location - very close to the Metro. The room was very clean. The hotel staff was friendly.

A very typical European hotel - small elevator and small room. However, good value for what we paid.

The Best thing about the hotel is, I suppose now, after staying in it, the position. It is close to a metro station, whose line has pretty much connection to the other lines. You can reach almost each touristic objective by foot, though the distance to some is quite big for those who are not used to walking. Near the hotel, in the Louvre direction, on small streets there are some nice boulangeries, where you can have a very good breakfast for very less money (around folies bergere). You can also reach quite easy the Halles, which is the best area for lunch or dinner, or the Montmartre district, which is very pitoresque and artsy. I have never stayed in a different hotel in Paris, yet I think you can do better than this for the same price if scheduled on time.

The hotel is hardly 3 stars, all improvements are quite old. The room stinks awfully, I guess the curtains and bed covers have not been cleaned in years.. You need to leave the windows open during the day so that you can sleep the night in breathable air. The bathroom has some serious problems with pipes, there is an awful smell from the drain. Also, during the week days there were some very noisy works on the street that started at 8 o'clock and during the weekend nights there is a group of teenagers which stays until late (more than 2 o'clock), talking, arguing and laughing pretty loud, therefore sleeping was hard. It is a small room, but from what I have read, all hotel rooms in Paris are like this. I chose so that be central, yet, the metro is working until 12 during the week and 2 in the wknd, my advise is to pick a good hotel in a quite neighborhood, even it is not very central. Marais should be nice.

the girl on the reception was really very helpful and polite. she helped to deside all the problems

the clearness of the rooms - dirty and with hairs... and very noisy

    Location and Staff were excellent

Breakfast was Terrible for 9 Euros, a cup of tea and cold coissant. Rooms were from the 3rd world, outdated and tired. HAving paid over 1200 euro for 3 nights for 4 rooms, had this been in london we could have had a boutique hotel with 4 or 5 stars, this is a 2 star hotel at best!

  • Couple
    5.8

Staff talked english, location is very good, close to the shopping street and very close to the metro station with the easy access to all attractions

Room is to small, no cable TV , only franch channels

  • Couple
    5.8

Staff was very nice and spoke very good English. The hot water stayed hot!

While we had a shower head, we didn't have a shower curtain. The room was tiny. You are paying more for the location than the comfortness.

  • Couple
    3.4

The walls were very dirty, almost black; wall paper was broken; from the shower instalation pieces were missing, from the heating water was droping, the pillow was very used; everything was basically dirty. Staff was, if not unfriendly, very concise and icy (it was Christmas time but we have heard no "welcome", "how are you",, "where are you from", "Merry Christmas" etc.)

  • Older travelers
    7.4

I like the location of the hotel. It's quiet near the metro station, 15 min.walking distanse to Opera. The size of the room fnd bathroom is good for Paris.

It would be nice to renovate the room and to decorate the walls.
